According to Our world in Data, Global greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions were 49.4Billion Tonnes CO2 eq in 2016.
By industry sector, Energy sector was 73.2%, which included Energy use in industry:24.2%, Transport: 16.2% and Energy use in Buildings:17.5%.
