What is GRI?
GRI stands for Global Reporting Initiative.
GRI is the independent, international organization that helps businesses and other organizations take responsibility for their impacts, by providing them with the global common language to communicate those impacts.
GRI provide the world’s most widely used standards for sustainability reporting – the GRI Standards.
The GRI publishes the GRI standards, which provide guidance on disclosure across environmental, social and economic factors for all stakeholders, including inventors, whereas the other major frameworks are primarily investor focused.
