TCFD is being globally accepted as the leading climate risk framework

Governments in New Zealand, The United Kingdom and Switzerland were the first to mandate that companies are legally bound to disclose against the TCFD recommendations . Other jurisdictions are expected to follow suit. The map on the right highlights countries that have either mandated, or have signalled mandatory reporting (as of October 2021).

Even if not mandated, TCFD reporting is rapidly becoming an expectation of consumers and investors.
